I am very excited to be the President of the IMA Denver Centennial chapter for fiscal year 2023-2024. Volunteering for the IMA Denver chapter has strengthened my ties to the accounting profession as I reflect on the limitless possibilities that IMA provides for the next generation to create successful business professionals.
The Denver Centennial chapter will hold several face-to-face social events this fiscal year in various cities in the Denver metro area. In person social events will allow us to fellowship with other IMA members. We are always looking for new volunteers to help plan our venues, organize our CPE sessions, and help with our student scholarship program. We will be delighted to receive your ideas.
All IMA members are invited to attend our online CPE sessions and events on On24. This year, our CPE sessions will focus on cost analysis, ethics and fraud, and investments, among others.
Fortunately, we have an outstanding group of leaders who will continue to guide and move our Denver Centennial chapter in a positive direction. Without a doubt, leadership and involvement are the greatest contributions you can make to yourself and your accounting career.
